A.J. GLUCK
ABOUT
I come from an eclectic group of performers and creatives. My grandmother is an Argentinian-American concert pianist. My grandfather was a German violinist. Together they toured the world, playing concerts from Brazil to India to China. My mother is a reformed theater kid and dancer turned journalist and adult figure skater, and my father is a journalist and author. With these roots in performance, creation, and storytelling, it was impossible to not believe that the world truly was a stage; a place to express myself and to inform, entertain, move, and inspire.
I graduated from LaGuardia High School’s Music Studio in 2021, where I earned the Alan & Alice Sklar Award for Outstanding Music Student, and went on to earn my B.A. in Acting at Kenyon College in 2025. At Kenyon, I served as Music Director for 2 years of Kenyon’s premiere soprano-alto a cappella group, the Owl Creek Singers, as well as serving on the board of the Dance, Drama and Film organization as the Drama Liaison. Now I'm thrilled to be back in New York City—the place where my love of theater took root—to begin my professional theater career.
I’ve never loved anything the way I love theater, and I can’t imagine doing anything else. My goal is simple: to keep creating, collaborating, and connecting. Onstage, on the page, and everywhere in between.
Offstage, I can be found hanging out with my cat Basil, crocheting, playing guitar, and spending time in the sun!
